Greyhound Betting Tips For Monday 1st July 2013

Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 4 Box 1 Arabian Mcabdi 7.49pm

A 600m event here with quality runners engaged. I just can’t go past the very talented chaser Arabian Mcabdi. Having won 7 races already the daughter of American sire Soprano Drive will look to make it 8 here tonight. She’s got great early toe and will have no trouble leading and running out the trip here in this. She’s had a couple of goes over the trip, but should be good enough here. There’s plenty of competition but, and she won’t be able to make a mistake and still win. She hasn’t had a run for 5 weeks and that’s the biggest concern but her trainer has been around for a while, and he should have her cherry ripe here. Punters should be able to achieve fair odds of about 5-1, and at that price she’s a great bet here tonight.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 9 Box 8 Zulu Miss, 9.20pm

Anyone who doesn’t select Zulu Miss here as the winner is completely mad. Her last start second behind the near unbeatable Allen Bardolf was brilliant. She flew the lids, and led all bar the post. Improving more then 10 lengths on her first up run over the 710. I doubt she’s got another 10 lengths in her here, but shes probably got 2 to 3 lengths and that should no doubt see her salute here against these. As I often say, early speed is paramount to success and this girl has plenty of it here over the 710.
Expect her to bounce straight to the front, and reel of handy sectionals. It will take a massive turn around for Uno Lesson to beat her. Zulu Miss just looks far far too good here. Great bet and the standout winner for the night.

Grafton Greyhounds, Race 1 Box 5 Classy Haze 7.14pm

Big night ahead for , with the running of there annual Grafton maiden. It’s always tough trying to find a winer in maidens, and this race is no exception but I’m going with another home bred runner in Classy Haze. The son of Elite and Classy and very well bred Bamquin Haze is one of the quickest qualifiers for the series. This bloke trialled in a very quick 23.03 here abs a repeat of that should see him win this easily; bt we must remember he’s having his first start under full race conditions, and while he looks well above average remember he’s having his first go. Don’t take silly odds and although he’ll start favourite, $2.40 should be about the right price.

Launceston Greyhounds, Race 9 Box 7 Faolan 10.20pm

Tough race but one of my many associates may have found us a winner here. Usually we like to keep the odd one to ourselves, but this bloke was extremely well backed last week, and the cat seems to be out of the bag. He trialled really well at recently, and based on that quick trial he might be far too good for these here but he does have to beat the red hot favourite Funky Moss; who has won 3 races and has alot more experience then young gun here Faolan. Even if he again fails here tonight, I suggest you stick with him. He has plenty of upside.

Shepparton Greyhounds, Race 2 Box 4 Fantastic Barb 7.33pm

We all know how ‘s dogs start short priced favourites. So I’m going to guess this one wont be any different but she is a younger half sister to the brilliant El Brooklyn and hails from the same region, in which El Brooklyn came from. There’s no doubt she will have immense ability and plenty of speed too. Question is will she jump and will she get a clear run. I have no doubt with both of these things going her way, she will win. She will start favourite, but she should win. The kennel only has flying machines and she should be no different.

Best of luck
