Greyhound Betting Tips For Saturday 29th June 2013
It was a profitable days racing yesterday, with Tarks Legend saluting at nice odds of $6.70, and Drop Jaw giving them a hiding at $2.70.
Tough night ahead tonight, but as usual we have 3 selections for you guys to have your hard earned on.
Wentworth Park Greyhounds, Race 4 Box 1 Bronte Anna 8.30pm
Go back a few months and Bronte Anna was making a big impact in Sydney. Fast forward to now, and she’s struggling a little for form, but I have the feeling we may see her return to her best after she flogs these here tonight. Box 1 will be a huge asset to the daughter of Mogambo. She’s run pretty good time here, and has a great record from inside boxes. She’s clearly the best dog in the race and hails from a pretty good litter, who all run the distance. Miss Nicole the box 2 runner, is a slow beginner and this should ensure Bronte Anna gets a soft run. She only needs to step away safely and posse up early to take over and race right away here. A winner of 11 races from 23 starts The July 10 whelping will be hard to beat. She’s going to turn it all around soon, and tonight’s the night. Great bet.
The Meadows Greyhounds Race 7 Box 2 Peter Rocket 9.20pm
I’m a huge fan of this dog and the hard consistent way he chases. He just never knows how to run a bad race and puts in 100% every time. Box 2 is the perfect box for this guy, and he should get a great trail in behind the box 1 runner Collin Bale. This is no easy race and there’s multiple Group 1 winners engaged. He’s a run a quick 29.97 here, no where near the flying 29.60 that Boris Fields has run but he’s not in that form at present. Peter Rocket has won 5 races from box 2 and only last start, run a great 4th from an unsuitable box 8, in the Traralgon Cup. He’s been plagued with bad boxes in big races, and although tonight’s race isn’t a big one it’s still full of plenty of talent. He’s well boxed and is racing well and this looks a great race to back him in.
Cannington Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 1 Quiz Bale 8.27pm
Tonight feature race is the WA Cannington Oaks and my selection is the perfectly boxed Quiz Bale. Although she was a little disappointing in her heat, when getting run down by Zelemar Fever; I do think she’s able to improve just enough here to pinch this. With a great jump and her best effort, she’s easily capable of splitting them up early on here and she’s going to need to do this to win here. I’m hoping boxes 2 and 3 are able to hold out the fastest qualifier Zelemar Fever. If they manage to jump, and allow Quiz Bale to skip away then hopefully she’s able to hold on here to collect the $40,000 winners cheque.
Best Of Luck
