Greyhound Tips For Friday 28th June 2013
Well after a huge night of Origin, and a night filled with disappointment, it was extremely difficult to fulfill my usually tipping duties; but we are back on deck today, and hopefully we can finally win a series in 3 weeks time..
Ipswich Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 7 Drop Jaw 7.05pm
Today's race looks the perfect assignment for Drop Jaw. He's been racing very well, and quite consistently of late. He drops in grade here and takes on a field he can beat. There's not a great deal of pace and he should be able to head them off early on. Once he finds the lead I count there's many who can come from behind in this line up, to beat him. Boxed well racing well and great bet.
Casino Greyhounds Race 7 Box 4, Take The Weight 1.49pm
After returning from a stint in Victoria, Take The Weight has raced extremely well, winning at Casino and Lismore. He's going to have his work cut out for him again today but is racing far too well to dismiss. He takes a few strides to get going and isn't a lid pinger, but with a little Luck he should be far to good here. Don't take silly odds though, $3.00 will be about the right price.
Wentworth Park Greyhounds, Race 9 Box 5 Rainbow Dash, 9.57pm
It's been a while since this girl has won a race, and she's well overdue for a win. So what better place for her to do it then here at Headquarters. She's boxed well and has the ability to win this but I get the feeling there is two of her. If the real one turns up and she produces her best jump; she'll be very hard to beat.
Geelong Greyhounds, Race 7 Box 1 Tarks Legend 9.10pm
Tough race with plenty of talent, the race hardened Tarks Legend is the on top pick here. He's got a big motor, and does have the ability to win this, but like Rainbow Dash; at times there is two of him. Box 1 is a big advantage and although he's only won the one race from the cherry, he is well suited with a good jump. If he begins and puts himself into it early, then there's no doubt hell be there at the end.
