The Meadows greyhound tips & best bets for August 6, 2022
GREYHOUND Racing returns to The Meadows on Saturday night with race one starting at 6:38pm. The quaddie runs from races five to eight, with the last of 12 concluding at 10:29pm.
Race one is a race for greyhounds who have won between one and three races and this is where we see our best bet of the night go around for trainer Angel Langton.
BEST BET: MASTER THE ART (Race 1)
Master The Art ran home quite well last start when third at this track from box eight. He steps up to the 600m, and we don’t think that should be an issue. He has only won the one race from 10 starts but his efforts have caught the eye including a second here two starts back over the 525m journey running 30.30. He doesn’t jump too bad so we are anticipating he may settle around second or third early before he uses his motor down the back straight. He has run a second from box four before but he does like to try to get to the rails most of the time so we will be watching him early to see if he can position up.

NEXT BEST: DRAKO BALE (Race 4)
Box one is going the Andrea Dailly trained Drako Bale
Next Best
Race 4 –
Form: 62621 | Career: 63: 10-19-10 | Trainer: Andrea Dailly
BEST VALUE: PEAKY BLAZER (Race 6)
Peaky Blazer will be huge odds, but still may be value with three or four quality greyhounds against him in this one. The last three times that this dog has had box one he has been in the money and we are counting on him to get a clear run through again. He was a bit slow out here last week when fourth and it will pay to forget the run. Tynslee Bale in box three will be the likely leader but we think the Robert Britton-trained chaser can settle just behind it and have the last crack.
