The Meadows greyhound tips for June 25, 2022

Greyhound Racing returns to on Saturday night with the 600 metre restricted win final looking to be the race of the night. The free-for-all event in race eight is also a beauty with the winner likely coming from boxes three, four or eight. Race one gets underway at 6:37pm, while the last race of 12 will start at 10:26pm.

The quaddie legs start at race five which commences at 8:03pm.

BEST BET: WEBLEC FLARE (Race 3)

For Jeffrey Britton, this son of x Weblec Rose, , can cross the red early and lead this 600m event from box two. He has been in the money 27 of 36 starts and is super consistent and his form from draws close to the rails is very good. He has only had the one try over the 600m distance and that was the last start where he almost got there (second). He got out of the boxes well from box two and took the lead down the back straight, all to be collared on the line by a smart one. Having his second start over the track & distance he should be stronger and should improve a length or two. Box two is a big help and he is the bet of the night.

NEXT BEST: KANJI VICTORY (Race 1)

is still learning and after a recent run at The Meadows on July 23 (seventh), we think she will improve her time after that run. She didn't have much luck on the first bend last time and if she can come out of the boxes slightly better she should settle around second or third early. The dog on her outside in box eight isn't blessed with early speed so she just might get an economical run early from out there in the seven.

BEST VALUE: CASH IT IN (Race 10)

This daughter of x has been missing the start of late and her form has dropped off a bit. With that however should be a bit more value for punters and even though she has run fourth from the same box (two) her last couple, her times haven't been too bad over this track & distance. She does go excellent at Park having already won four races there over the 515m journey but we don't think it will be too long before she starts enjoying The Meadows on a Saturday night as well. She won't lead but if she can settle a little closer in the run (third) here, she will be strong to the line.

Best Value

Race 10 – Silk (2)

Form: 37344 | Career: 12: 4-1-3 | Trainer:
