Leg 1 – Albion Park – Race 6: Yada Yada Yada To Place $3
Yada Yada Yada can turn it up in his races at times but he is blessed with enormous talent and at the $3 for the place I think he is a great bet. He has won four of 12 over this trip and he has been placed a further five times, with the four expected to carve across and lead, he should get a nice cart across in the run to the first turn and if he lobs in the top two I can't see him missing a place. I don't think he can win because he won't go past the leader but he is great value for the place.
Leg 2 – Sandown Park – Race 7: Ryno's Raider To Place $1.50
Ryno's Raider is relatively new at the staying caper but he gives every indication that he will make a nice stayer and he looks well placed in this event. I'm expecting the red to fire through and lead at the first bend and that should allow him to get a dream run through into second or third as they go past the post the first time. He has hit the line quite well in his previous efforts over this journey so a top three finish is on the cards. $1.50 is a good price but it may be worthwhile to take middle tote as you might be able to snag a little extra.
Leg 3 – Warragul – Race 12: Uncontrollable To Place $1.83
Uncontrollable doesn't win very often but he is more than capable on his day and he has come up with a very favourable draw. He generally steps fairly but he does pick up quite well and with the speed in seven, he should get a nice cart across as they negotiate the first turn and he should sweep away mid race. He is currently great value at $4.60 to win but for multi purposes I think the place option is a safer bet.
