Wentworth Park Friday preview & betting tips | March 22, 2024
With a week to go before the Golden Easter Egg heats begin, this is the last Friday meeting at Wentworth Park before the holidays are upon us. There are two quality non-graded races over 520m and 280m, and they will undoubtedly be the highlights of the night. Australian Racing Greyhound has done the form and tried to find you a winner or two.
Race 8: Black Misery (7)
Black Misery has not missed a place in his last eight starts, winning five of those. That takes his career record to nine wins from 16 starts, while he has four wins and a couple of placings from eight goes at Wentworth Park. He handles all boxes well, and in a race devoid of early speed, he maps to be prominent early and very hard to beat.

Race 10: Tokyo Drift (2)
This boy made a sensational comeback from a possible career-ending injury at Richmond last Monday, clocking the best time of the day and loudly announcing his return. He has 12 wins from 19 starts, and while he has never raced here over 280m, he does have a 30.05 win over 520m. Tokyo Drift is a real speed machine who, if he gets the start right, will win this race easily.

Race 4: Courting Cash (4)
This girl was unlucky on her Wenty debut on the March 8, beginning well and getting checked in the run to the first turn. She will definitely improve with that run under her belt, and she generally shows some early dash in her races. With a vacant box outside and a slow beginner under her, Courting Cash may get the room she needs to lead this race and spring an upset at decent odds with online bookmakers.
