Wentworth Park greyhound tips Friday night April 26 2024
Friday is a massive day and night for greyhound racing in NSW this week. While The Gardens hosts the heats of the annual The 715 meeting, Wentworth Park has amassed itself 11 top-quality races that will run in the twilight timeslot.
The highlight is the Gosford to Wenty final, but the 1-4 wins heats will be of equal interest.
The first race begins at 3.07pm local time, and as always Australian Racing Greyhound has looked at all the runners and done all the work to find you a few winners.
Best Bet: Stop It (3)
Stop It was an unlucky second in the Listed Ultra Sense last Saturday night going down by less than a length after being slow to begin. His box manners have cost him a couple of wins, but his mid race motor usually means he is a genuine chance in anything he contests. He has an outstanding record of 16 starts for nine wins and five placings and has only seen Wenty Park twice for a win and a second. If he can begin well enough and miss Tommy Kade in the early stages he should be winning this race.
Stop It (3)Next Best: Brooklyn Brute (2)
Brooklyn Brute is another dog that seems to take a while to get up to full pace. He has only had the six starts for four wins and two placings all at Richmond. All his wins have been in good times considering he has been slow to begin. He will need a touch of luck at Wenty Park, but if he can find a spot on the fence early in this race and handles the first turn, he looks to be a greyhound with a bright future.

Best Value: Nora’s Boy (8)
Nora’s Boy was a good second in his heat behind Jan’s Memory when he just couldn’t match the leaders for early pace. Not sure that being drawn on the fence in the heat was an advantage as he likes to skirt wider on the track. He is perfectly drawn in box eight here and has two wins and three placings from six attempts from the box. Wild Sylvia will provide him with all the room in the world early, when she crashes towards the fence and at double figure odds with the top online bookmakers makes a great each way / value play.
