Wentworth Park Saturday greyhound racing tips | June 29, 2024
It's a Group 1 Saturday night at Wentworth Park with 11 races to be decided, including three heats of the Peter Mosman Opal and five heats of the Vic Peters Classic. The finals are here next week, and Australian Racing Greyhound has checked all the races and found you three potential winners to help you on your way.
Race 11: Ferness (8)
Ferness showed last week just how much of a Group dog he has become, clocking 29.67 in a cracking win at Wentworth Park. He draws well enough in box eight with a slow beginner and hard railer underneath him, although he's never had this box in his 20-race career. Nothing comes easy in a Group 1 heat, but Ferness has the ability to begin quickly, cross the field and race into the final.

Race 2: Cindy Keeping (3)
Cindy Keeping won the Chief Havoc final at Gunnedah three starts back, and after failing in Queensland, she came home to Wenty Park and ran a best-of-night 29.45. She has exceptional early pace and will cross to the fence early, and if she runs to her personal best, she will be a long way in front. Cindy Keeping has a great record at Wenty and will be looking to improve on it here.

Race 6: Great Flash (8)
Great Flash had no right to win after bombing the start at Richmond last time out, but he rounded them up to run the fastest time of the night. He is well boxed out wide and led the flying Daintree Idol two starts back. This is a tough non-graded race, but he will start at massive odds with online bookmakers and will give you a good sight for your money if he nails the start.
