Emerging Chaser Draws Lucky Red At Albion Tonight

Rising youngster Orara Flash was the name on everyone's lips last week after joining only an elite who have broken 30-seconds at .

The Gary Smith-trained performer has progressed into a quality fourth grade this week, and it seems the racing gods are on her also, drawing box one in the Big Dog Pet Foods 520m.

The Bond – Sweet Elite youngster sped home last week in 29.97 from the same box, posting a blistering first sectional of 5.71.

Orara Flash looks to be the standout in this race, however, several strong performers will be looking to jump on any mistakes.

Contender for , will jump from box five, and found consistency again on Monday night placing third behind Sangio King.

Pure Surf, trained by , will jump from an awkward box six, and will be looking to settle the score with Orara Flash after being beaten by almost four lengths by her last year.

Pure Surf has shown speedy ability in recent months, including a best time in September of 30.06.

Other racing on Thursday night that will offer some quality prices is the Best Eight, Brandons Electrical 710m (Race Six).

Coming off the back of a terrific win from box eight last week, Peter Ruetschi's Count The Dough won by an impressive three and a half lengths ahead of Miss Jersey last week.

Count The Dough is sure to contest this week as well, but favourable draws on the inside for rival She's A Penske (box two) and That's Twitchy (box four) will prove tough for the Surf Lorian dog.

Irish Fantasy in box one is also one to keep an eye on. While she didn't perform last week, she ran extremely well to finish second behind drifting in the A-Team Thunder over 832m.

The Best Eight, Book Your Christmas Party at the Brisbane Greyhounds 520m (Race Nine) is sure to be an exciting race.

Patricia Carrington's should offer good value on the TOTE, and has improved dramatically after having a spell.

Jumping from box eight, Paddy Bell ran extremely well against a top field including Sprint Champion , to finish second behind emerging Group contender Azakhan.

However, Christine Robartson's and , who jump from box seven and four respectively, are sure to start fast, and will make it hard for Paddy Bell to cross considering his average box speed.

Gary Moore's Black Attack is not without a chance also, finishing third in the Best Eight last week, and the week before beating regular Albion Park performer Ryan's A Rocket in a solid 30.29.
