You need to take a stand and ban the Rasmussens for life, they should never be able to own any animals again. The footage is appalling, saddening and sickening. Administrators of the sport need to send a firm message and put more effort into finding other trainers doing the same thing as there are many. Shame on all of you, poor defenceless creatures beaten into submission so people can make money out of them.

How many other training facilities employ cruelty and submission upon their greys? When are we going to STOP betting on innocent, mistreated animals?

A life-ban is surely the only possible outcome. GRSA needs to step up and show how sickening and horrible this behaviour is and deter others. Felt sick seeing this footage and so should all greyhound racing administrators, owners and supporters of this industry.

Greyhound Trainers need to take a stand against this appalling abuse of animals and make sure these people are rubbed out of the industry. The Greyhound industry is in decline and there is plenty of evidence to say this is not an isolated case. It’s about time the genuine trainers gave up people who do the wrong thing to save an industry which in the mind of most people is toxic, cruel and should be discontinued.

I can’t help but wonder if any animals died under their “care.” Did any received broken limbs…It is up to you guys to really show some clout or these animal abuse stories still coming out in this cruel and dirty industry will continue. The Rasmussen family should be made to hand back any awards. I might add that this abuse… Read more »
