Harrison Brown bags four winners at Darwin

was one of four winners for Harrison Brown at on Monday.

Dancer continues to set the Darwin track ablaze, notching up her sixth-straight win on Sunday night as part of a Harrison Brown-trained foursome.

Lining up as a $1.30 with top greyhound betting sites, she jumped straight to the lead out of the black box and ran on to win in another classy performance.

She beat home the -trained pair of Prabaker ($6.50) and Ladies Day ($19) by 1.5 lengths, posting a time of 22.35.

Brown was impressed with the effort.

“She is a great dog and she’s done everything I’ve asked of her and more,” he said.

“She missed the jump this time and copped a check on the first turn, for her to balance up and power to the front I thought was extremely impressive.

“I don’t think I could have asked for a better start to her career.

“She’s just about up in grade so will be a little tougher from now on.

“She’s given me every indication she can take the next step so hopefully she can continue on with it.”

Dancer On Fire has started at shorter than $2 odds in nine of her 10 career starts, recording nine wins and a placing.

The second of Brown’s winning four was Mojo Herrera, who bounced back after a runner-up finish last time out on August 9, behind winner Stupify in a 383m open contest.

Prior to that, he had saluted in five straight runs, all over the Darwin 383m trip.

On Sunday over the 312m, he lined up in the open contest as a $2 race favourite and led early, beating home Nangar Bolt ($5.20) and Joanna Keeping ($79.60) in a time of 18.04.

“Mojo went well after jumping well and just held the rail,” Brown said.

“He’s a classy dog.”

His career kicked off on April 5 last year over the 388m at , where he finished second.

He would notch up five runner-up finishes to start his career before cracking his maiden over the 288m at on May 27.

The Whiskey Riot x Ruby Herrera dog has 20 wins and 23 placings from 56 career starts, with $31,185 in prize money.

The first leg of the Brown-trained swag came in the opening race, where saluted as a $2.50 favourite.

In the 312m fifth-grade contest, she beat home Sunshine Fire ($2.90) and Aaron Keeping ($8.10) by 0.75 of a length, clocking 18.35.

“Spiteful is a dog that likes things her way,” Brown said.

“She was back to fifth grade and drawn four or wider she is always competitive in that grade.”

Starting her career in July last year with a third-place finish at Darwin, it would take her six race starts to land in the winner’s circle.

The x Eleven Eleven bitch has eight wins and 11 placings from 38 career starts and has cracked the $11,000 mark in race winnings.

The final of the Brown’s winning four came at long odds, with lining up at a massive $51.60 price in the 383m closer.

Hitting the lead in the initial stages, he held off challenges throughout the journey to beat Roma Bella ($14.30) and race favourite Nick The Quick ($1.80) by 1.5 lengths in a time of 22.03.

Brown admits the win from Air Pumbaa was probably the best of the night.

“It was one of my better wins as a trainer,” he said.

“I had a little something each way as I was walking out.

“Couldn’t believe his price – I knew he had the ability and his last few runs had impressed me.

“He’s a dog that needs clear room early because he doesn’t always begin the best and has a habit of finding trouble.

“Once he found the front, I knew he would be hard to catch.”

The Panhandle Slim x Mahjong World chaser has 13 wins and 19 placings from 59 career starts and has earned over $25,00 in prize money for .
