Mackenna shines in Golden Easter Egg Semi-Final, Primed for Final
The atmosphere at Wentworth Park was electric as Mackenna, one of the up-and-coming stars of greyhound racing, achieved a victory in the Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg semi-finals.
Trained by Michelle Sultana and owned by Sydney businessman Giorgio Alvaro, Mackenna displayed her impressive skills, leaving her competitors trailing behind.
Despite starting from box six, Mackenna quickly took the lead and held onto it throughout the race.
Her impressive speed allowed her to finish six lengths ahead of Zipping Megatron with a time of 29.29 seconds.

This performance was 0.09 seconds short of her fastest time ever recorded at Wentworth Park during the heats on March 30.

In races held on Saturday night, Good Odds Cobber, owned by Frank Hurst, took the spot in the Group 3 Simply Limelight New Sensation race, showcasing his potential as a rising star in the sport.
