Murray Bridge greyhound meeting rescheduled due to heat
The greyhound racing meeting in Murray Bridge, originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, has been rescheduled to a morning session due to the expected weather in the area.
The first race will now start at 9:15 a.m. local time in South Australia and the final race of the day will be held at 12:28 p.m.
Kennelling of the greyhounds will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
This decision was made by Greyhound Racing SA (GRSA) as part of their hot weather policy, which prioritises the safety and well-being of the competing greyhounds.
GRSA will continuously monitor the weather forecast leading up to the event and may make further adjustments if required.
