Three New Faces On NSW GBOTA Board Of Directors
Elections to the NSW GBOTA Board of Directors were finalised this week resulting in three new Directors being appointed.
In the Metropolitan District, sitting Directors Sue Absalom and Richard Bligh were returned and Brett Lazzarini was elected for the first time.
Long serving Director and Chairman, Bill Mangafas, was unsuccessful in his bid to again be elected. Mr Mangafas had been a member of the Directorate since 1995 and the Association's Chairman since 2000.
Sitting Directors Jenny Green and Bryan Yong were re-elected in the Newcastle & Hunter River District, Gary Minter, Bob Williams and Michael Power were unsuccessful candidates.
Joe Bertinato was elected in the South Coast and Southern Tablelands District defeating Colin Williams.
Geoff Rose (North and North Western), George Hayes (Western District), Joe Cotroneo (Northern Rivers District) and Gary Harding (Riverina District) were elected unopposed.
Messrs. Lazzarini, Bertinato and Harding are first term Directors.
Office Bearers for the next two years will be determined at the next meeting of Directors on June 19, 2010
