Out Of Austrian held off the favourite to salute at on Wednesday.

Out Of Austrian got back to winning ways at Albion Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Trained by Ned Snow, he was sent to the boxes in the 395m fifth-grade contest as a +320 chance with top greyhound bookmakers.

Jumping from box three, he shot to the lead and dictated terms from the front for the entire trip.

Godges (+4000) worked to second place into the first turn but was passed by race favourite Canya Charm (-111.11) as they exited the back straight.

In the end, Out Of Austrian beat Canya Charm by a quarter of a length in 22.92.

The win was his first at the track and trip, having had two placings at the Albion Park 395m from three previous attempts.

It also bounced Out Of Austrian back into the winner's circle after finishing fifth in a six-dog field on October 27 over the 288m.

Prior to that, he had notched up five straight wins at the 331m trip at Albion Park, holding a best time of 18.92 at that journey.
