Any greyhound that secures a first, second, or third place in select Carnival lead-up races, including the likes of the Flying Amy Classic Final, Carnival Chase Final, Dashing Corsair Final, State Of Origin Sprint, State Of Origin Distance, State Of Origin Match Race, Super Stayers Invitational, and Brisbane Cup Preludes, are eligible for a prizemoney bonus of $10,000 each.
This lucrative bonus is claimed by the greyhound if it subsequently wins a heat of either the Group 1 Brisbane Cup or the Group 1 Queensland Cup.
The selection of the qualified greyhounds has been completed, with the notable contenders listed, ready for the thrilling chase of the Winter Carnival Bonus.
