Smart And Classy lives up to his name with Bundaberg win

ran down Wild Oates while smashing his own personal best time on Monday night at , taking out his third-straight win in the process.

At box rise, the -trained dog lined up as a $1.35 favourite with the top greyhound bookmakers.

Wild Oates ($4.80), trained by Lorraine Isles, hit the lead from the initial jump and held it for the majority of the 460m trip.

Into the straight, Smart And Classy stormed over the top of the leader to take the win by four and a quarter lengths.

Raven On Koby ran third after starting at massive $81 odds.

With a previous personal best of 26.22 at the track and trip, the winner slashed that with a speedy 25.97.

On June 26 in his last start, Smart And Classy took out the final of the Bundaberg Grand Prix over 531m, beating home Mount Cambla and Slick Suzie by 1.5 lengths.
