Greyhound racing enthusiasts are in for a treat as the anticipated comeback of superstar Jay Is Jay takes place at Albion Park on Thursday night.

He will be participating in a heat of the Group 3 Golden Ticket (520m) a race in which he had an exhilarating dead heat victory back in 2023. Jay Is Jay, whose parents, Sennachie and Kealoah, has been diligently preparing for this week's series after taking a break from racing.
Following his race on December 16 in The Phoenix, he has undergone intensive training sessions to ensure his readiness.

In a show of speed, he tied with the renowned Western Australian greyhound Throttle, securing his place in the highly esteemed G1 Gold Bullion final. Both dogs achieved times of 29.52 in the two-dog finals, leading to a draw to determine which one would advance to the Gold Bullion.
Ultimately, Jay Is Jay emerged as the winner, etching his name into the records of racing history.
Although Jay Is Jay came in second to Hello Mike by a narrow margin in the Gold Bullion final, he quickly bounced back and broke his sire Sennachies Albion Park 520m track record with an astonishing time of 29.35.
As Thursday night approaches and Jay Is Jay gets ready for his qualifying race, he finds himself in a position of being drawn inside in a four-dog field.
His competitors include Caramel Queen, Multi Matt, and Blue Hornet, all contenders in their own right.
