Champion stayer Untapped retires from greyhound racing
After a journey in the racing world, the renowned Victorian stayer Untapped has officially retired.
Trainer Dustin Drew made this decision following her performance at the Ray Drew Memorial held in Warrnambool.
Although she didn't achieve the fairytale ending everyone hoped for, Untapped's incredible achievements have left an enduring impact on both the sport and those who supported her. Fondly referred to as “Izzy,” Untapped's path to stardom was nothing extraordinary.
Initially facing challenges after being part of the 2019 National Greyhound Draft, she even faced the possibility of joining the Greyhound Adoption Program.
