Tim Zoo bounces back with dominant Shepparton win
Tim Zoo returned to the winner’s circle at Shepparton on Monday after a runner-up finish last start.
In his first start at the track, the Jason Thompson-trained chaser lined up as a $1.80 favourite with top online greyhound bookmakers.
He jumped out to take the lead early in the 450m contest and ran on to win by 6.75 lengths, beating home She’s Extreme ($10) and Zadie ($4.20) while clocking 24.80.

In his last start on July 6, Tim Zoo finished 2.5 lengths behind Mr Kia Ora over the 460m distance at Geelong.
He won his first two career starts at the 425m Bendigo trip, including a 23.58 heat win in the Greyhound Racing Victoria Breeders Maiden Series on June 30.
That time – the 10th-fastest ever recorded in a Bendigo maiden – put him within five lengths of the 23.28 track record set by Typhoon Sammy in October 2021.
He backed up a week later in the maiden final as a $1.60 favourite, winning by 0.75 of a length in a time of 25.85 ahead of Lamia Mila ($5.40) and Mepunga Ollie ($11.70).

The Aussie Infrared x Double Supreme dog has three wins and a placing from four starts, banking $11,680 in career earnings.
He has shown great ability from an early age, according to breeder and owner Glen Talarico.
“It is only early days with him, but he has always shown above-average ability since we had him on the clock,” he said.
“Hopefully he can stay sound and chasing and over the next 12 months give us a bit of a ride.”
