Vamoose returns to winning ways at Maitland
Vamoose stormed back into the winner’s circle on Monday with a dominant victory at Maitland over the 400m trip.
Last start, the Susan Smith-trained chaser went down to Speeding Fine in the Richmond Cannonball Final.
Despite the runner-up finish, he was sent out on Monday in the 400m contest as a $1.30 race favourite with greyhound betting sites.
Jumping from box two, he found the lead soon after box rise and held it for the entire trip, winning in a time of 22.18.
He beat home Clock Off ($4.80) and Scramjet ($9.50) by 5.25 lengths.
