Zipping Neutron extends streak with Mount Gambier win
Zipping Neutron served up a massive performance to win the Eric Lewis Memorial Feature at Mount Gambier on Sunday and make it seven straight wins.
The Tim Aloisi-trained chaser was a red-hot favourite, paying $1.10 with top online greyhound bookmakers.
At box rise in the 732m contest, he got out to sit second for most of the trip behind the Emily Azzopardi-trained In The Bug ($5.50).
After the final turn and into the straight, he ran down the leader and went on to win by 11.75 lengths in front of In The Bug and Mick's Kimmy ($34).

Zipping Neutron also slashed his personal best at the trip, going from a dominant 43.34 victory last start down to 42.73 seconds.
He adds that time to his PBs of 42.85 at the Angle Park 730m, 30.07 at the Wentworth Park 520m, and 42.09 over 720m at the Glebe circuit.
Having debuted a year ago with a fifth-placing over the Grafton 450m journey, it would take Zipping Neutron seven starts before claiming his first win.
He has gone on to prove his credentials as a high-quality stayer, including a nine-length win last month in the Bayroad Queen Stayers final at Angle Park.
The Sh Avatar x Zipping Abby chaser has 15 wins and nine placings from 42 starts and has collected $85,450 in prize money.
