Zipping Neutron eyes Topgun Stayers with another Angle Park win
Zipping Neutron bounced back into the winner's circle at Angle Park on Thursday night, proving his class as a genuine stayer.
The Tim Aloisi-trained dog lined up in the 730m open contest as the -166.67 race favourite on greyhound betting apps.
At box-rise, the +130 second favourite, Fantastic Radley, got out to lead with Zipping Neutron in second; before the race favourite was checked and fell back to be third as they turned the bend.
Fantastic Radley dictated terms from the front before Zipping Neutron gained ground on the rail, passing Under Siege, then storming outside the leader to win.
Zipping Neutron beat Under Siege by 1.5 lengths in 42.73, with Fantastic Radley fading for third.

Last start, on October 12, he finished runner-up over the same track and trip, 1.75 lengths behind Fantastic Radley.
Prior to that, he had notched up five straight victories over the Angle Park 730m, showcasing his class, with four of those wins by more than six lengths to the nearest runner.
He relishes the staying trip at the Adelaide track, with 14 wins and two minor placings from 16 runs there.
Armed with a 64% strike rate of landing on the podium, the son of SH Avatar and Zipping Abby has 24 wins and 10 placings from 53 starts while banking $139,405 in prize money for his ownership syndicate.
