Wentworth Park betting tips

With the hype, glitz and glamour of the Golden Easter Egg carnival behind us, will return to her serene best for 10 races this Wednesday night. There are lots of winners to be found and we will try to help you find a few.

Best Bet: Wyndra All Class (Race 8)

This girl has been nothing short of a sensation for Brian and Sue Barton. puts the polish on her, and if she does back up after Saturday night's glory, then she will be a short-priced favourite for this race. She gave nothing else a chance in the 3 Ambrosoli on Saturday night, pinging the lids and racing away with a three-length win in the flying time of 29.44. She used box one well on Saturday night and will have no issues from box five, which is a good one for quick beginners. She has 12 wins and seven placing from her 26 starts, and while the track is usually exceptionally fast for Egg night, she should go close to her Saturday time again in this. She goes from a race into fourth and fifth grade, so she will appreciate the drop in class. The odds could be prohibitive, so anchor her in your multis and quaddie.

Danger: There really isn't one unless On The Bus can find his absolute best off box one, where he has seven wins from 13 starts. He can't afford to give Wyndra a start, however.

Next Best: Kiss Me Kev (Race 4)

This exciting youngster is by Aston Dee Bee out of Precious Lulu, who was a good race bitch herself. Trained by Christopher Kedwell, this boy ran third on debut at the ultra-competitive carnival and since then has strung together five wins on the trot. His latest was a fifth-grade heat and final win at Maitland, beating some quality greyhounds. He hasn't seen Wentworth Park yet but is sure to have been well schooled. He has had box one only once for a win. He might be a touch questionable at the full 500m for the first time, but he is the class runner and should open his city account in this race.

Danger: Most of the rest of these went around last Wednesday night in a race won by Chance Model, and the best of them is Belmont Duchess. The McFadyen kennel is having a great run of late with in the final of the Egg, and if there is to be an upset, maybe this girl is it. She was having her first look here last week and will be improved, but will have to do a big job to cross and lead from out here.

Next Best

Race 4 – SilkKiss Me Kev (1)

Best Value: Rockstar Louise (Race 3)

The Rockstar breed is going great guns of late. Shaun Evans and Kyla-Jane Coleman have them flying, and while Louise might not be the absolute best of them, she has been thrown in the deep end at Wenty. Her first look was in the heats, and then last time out she just blew the start and found trouble. She won't get the pressure from out here in box eight, where she has had one race for a second. She will need to bring her best and get back to nailing the starts, which she is more than capable of doing, and with two runners stifling the market she might start this race at silly odds.

Best Value

Race 3 – Silk (8)
