Maitland R5 No.3 Styles
Speedy greyhound which was never a winning chance after missing the kick at Wentworth Park last start. Suited dropping back slightly in trip and has a good record at Hobart which is a big open track like Maitland. If he can find the lead he is capable of getting down around the 25.10 mark which should make him hard to beat.
Townsville R6 No.7 Bimbadgen Man
Perhaps better drawn towards the fence but there is no doubting his ability. Freshened up for this after winning the Rockhampton Young Guns last start and if he can find the front early I doubt they will be able to reel him in. Owns a slick personal best of 28.79 over the track and trip which should be good enough to win.
Horsham R10 No.2 Peter Galo
Very exciting youngster which resumed from a month on the sidelines with a narrow second last week. Strips fitter for the run and can begin a lot better than that effort. Just a couple of starts back he was racing dogs such as Aston Dee Bee, Zinzan Brooke and Judicial Man, holding his own against some of the best in the state. Clearly the class runner here tonight and it would be very surprising if he gets beat.
