Greyhound racing's best bets

WE landed two out of three yesterday with our other tip finishing third – so not quite perfect – but certainly not a bad day.

We are hoping to keep the good run going today and have had a look through the form guides for some of the big meetings around the country to find some winning bets.

If you see something you like, be sure to claim the free bet bonuses on offer to readers of Australian Racing Greyhound which essentially give you extra cash to place on your fancied pick.

Wentworth Park R7 No.1 Bekin Street: Was a bit disappointing in his semi-final last week, but was drawn poorly and was chasing some very smart greyhounds. Returns to box one tonight which is ideal and I can see him positioning up well along the fence around the first turn. He has a breathtaking second section so if he is within a length or two of the leader down the back he will be hard to hold out.

Bulli R6 No.5 Big Butters: Classy bitch which has been racing extremely well in recent months. Far from disgraced last start when placed third in a heat of the Group 1 Hume Cup at The Meadows behind fastest qualifier Brueghelino. Box five doesn’t help, but she has a good mix of speed and strength and this is a definite drop in class for her. She’ll be short odds, but a good dog to chuck into a multi.

Cannington R3 No.3 Quick Jagger: Has had three starts back from a spell and showed he was back to his best with a sizzling 29.73 effort two starts back. Can be hit and miss out of the boxes, but he has an enormous engine and this is a considerable drop in class on his most recent starts.
