Greyhound Betting Tips For Thursday 30th May 2013

Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 1 Starliner 9.08pm

I've found it tough to find a value runner here tonight at . There's plenty of winners but all are going to start near favourite. The Winter Chase is tonight's feature race over 710m, and as long as the mug punters don't go silly, Starliner should start a backable odds. He's a great dog who gets the job done. I know a few people were disappointed in his overall time last week but the track is a bit slow, and this bloke isn't a dog who can break records; he's just a tough honest racer who gets the job done. From box 1 tonight he's going to ping and land straight on the bunny. I prefer to select dogs who make there own luck, rather then hope for luck. He's going to lead and carve out good sectionals, the only dog who can run him down is Mrs.Thursday who has drawn box 6, and working on first , she's going to end up nearer to last then first. If she does drop right out and finds clear running we may be in trouble; but I doubt she's going to get the luck needed. Starliner start to finish. $2.20 is about the right price.

Angle Park Greyhounds, Race 9 Box 2 Hawaii Fantasy 10.05 pm

I've picked out another distance race here tonight at Angle Park. On paper Miss Woods is just over the line. She's honest, can run time and never puts a paw wrong. But I really like the chances of the trainer Hawaii Fantasy. As I've said before I often support Petar as he's one of the states best trainers and although she's going to have her work cut out to beat Miss Woods, I reckon she can really put her to the sword in this. I'm not entirely sure but she may be able to ping and land straight on the rail either in front of Miss Woods or just behind her. She's quite strong this daughter of and she's going to be great odds, and a bet and a big boxed exacta might be the way to go.

Dapto Greyhounds, Race 7 Box 2 Paua And Jewels, 9.38pm

I'm not entirely confident I wanna be having a big go on this girl but at the same time if they put up $3.50 I'll be all over it. Most of her wins have come from box 1 and, she's not a bitch who can push through to win a race but she can easily lead here and roll along in front. She did push a little in her last start at , and the go over the shorter trip will hopefully bring her out of the box. Her PB of 30.08 is enough here and ahe should lead and if she's does, it's going to be mighty hard to run her down.

Hobart Greyhounds, Race 7 Box 2 Bergermeister 9.25pm

This bloke is back from a stint in W.A where he went quite well. If he's at his best, there's no chance any of these can get anywhere near him. The winner of 12 races here and a best time of 25.83, he is getting on in age, but I cant see how any of these will beat him. He appeared to be going stale last time he was racing in the Apple Isle, and I reckon the return to his home state will bring the best out of him. Boxes don't worry him, and he should jump away with them, and then power right away. If he's 100 % he will just win. The best way to find winners is to assume all trainers are equal, and all have their chargers at 100%. Lets hope this is the case tonight.

Sandown Greyhounds, Race 3 Box 8 Pumped Up Zarr, 7.44pm

Theirs plenty of 700m racing all around the country tonight at Albion, Angle and Sandown. I'm going to make the trained Pumped Up Zarr a special. Kel has done extremely well with stayers in the past, one of them being So Seductive and he seems to be working this bloke right up to a win. He's had a couple of goes over now and should be primed to win. Box 8 will suit and he should find himself up in the leading division. He has great mid race pace, and will look to take up the lead mid race. Only last start he finished third to the overall winner ; and at one stage he looked a real threat. But as I stated he needs to take the lead mid race, and he should have no trouble doing this here tonight. Best bet and should win.

Best Of Luck
