Millions Dollar Chase semi-final tips | Wentworth Park preview
The second biggest Friday night of the year descends upon Wentworth Park, with semi-finals of the Group 1 Million Dollar Chase and two heats of the Group 2 Sydney Cup slated. It is one of the biggest nights on the NSW greyhound racing calendar, and as always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two.
Race 5: Saige Tenniele (1)
The reigning National Sprint champion trialled here in a nice 29.66 and will have improved after her first look at the tight Wentworth Park circuit. She has two wins and two seconds from five runs out of box one, and while she took some time to get going in her trial, she has a big motor. The West Australian has the advantage of not having a ton of early speed in this semi and should be making it through to the final.

The Dapto Megastar winner just missed going back-to-back with Group glory when narrowly beaten in the Black Top at Newcastle last start. He has an abundance of early pace and loves being down near the fence. The Victorian has had a private trial around here, and if he can use that early pace and cross the red early, he will set up a winning break down the back straight.

Race 8: Magic Spirit (1)
This guy came through the Casino series and beat the smart Magistrate in the heats before having the tables turned in the final. In a semi where the early pacesetters are drawn off the track and may well interfere with each other, Magic Spirit has enough speed of her own to be handy, if not hold the fence, through the first turn. She has three wins and two placings from five runs in the red, and her double-figure quote with online bookmakers represents enormous value.
