Nad Al Sheba triumphs Million Dollar Chase Regional Final at Richmond
Nad Al Sheba has taken out the Million Dollar Chase Regional Final at Richmond on Wednesday after running the fastest heat time last week at 29.76.
Trained by Peter Lagogiane in Llandilo, Nad Al Sheba entered the 520m final as the +240 race favorite with the top greyhound bookmakers and delivered an all-the-way victory.
With a clean kick from box five, he took the lead, with Magic Muffin (+500) in second place, presenting a challenge to the leader twice.
Turning into the home straight at the final corner, Copious (+800) overtook Magic Muffin to secure the runner-up position.
Nad Al Sheba finished the race in a time of 29.41, beating Copious and Magic Muffin by two lengths.

Before this victory, on September 13, Nad Al Sheba won his heat of the Million Dollar Chase Regional Series at Richmond, defeating Make No Promise and Anjo Typhoon by a significant six-length margin with the fastest heat time of 29.76.
In his previous start on September 9, Nad Al Sheba won by six and a quarter lengths, leaving Mia She's Fast behind as they raced down the 324m straight at Richmond.
Nad Al Sheba, the son of Beast Unleashed and Zipping Kelly, has achieved ten wins and seven placings in 19 career starts, accumulating $31,060 in prize money for connections.
Nad Al Sheba will now head to the MDC semi-finals at Wentworth Park on October 6.
