Wentworth Park Friday greyhound tips & quaddie | November 10

Wentworth Park preview

This night will play host 10 mouth-watering races, with the first to kick off at 5.27 pm local time. There are heats of a star-studded maiden series and a wonderful non-graded race, but the highlight looks to be the final of to Wenty series. As always Australian Racing Greyhound will be on hand and trying to find you a winner or two.

Race 6: Royal Rush (6)

This girl won her heat in the fastest time of the day last week at The Gardens. She had box five in that run and stayed beautifully straight all the way to the first turn, and that will be the key in this race. The dogs immediately under her will head to the fence and give her plenty of room in the run to the first turn. Box six is the only box she has not won from, but she is the strongest dog in the race, having had a few 600m races, and is normally a reliable beginner. Also, with the red runner having been odds on in its last 5 runs, there might even be a touch of value here.

Race 2: Zipping Griswold (7)

ARG don't often tip first race starters, but this impeccably bred boy just had to go in. He is from out of Zipping Maggie. His dad needs no introduction, and his mum had 17 wins, was a runner-up in a over 720m here, raced over all distances in most states, and amassed over $160000 in prizemoney. If has any of her race craft and determination, it will carry him a long way in his career. He has a few other first starters to beat, but he is in quality hands from quality breeders and must be given huge respect. and let's hope he gets more luck than Clark.

Race 10: Licking Marvel (7)

This girl has not been back to town since she was beaten two lengths off box eight in her debut a few weeks ago. She loves to be drawn off the track a fraction and has won five from twelve from box seven. She has only been here once for that narrow defeat, so she should improve, and she is rock-hard fit. She will get a great run when Speedy Ethics heads to the fence early and should be at very nice value odds to boot.
