Wentworth Park Friday greyhound tips & quaddie | October 20, 2023
We have 11 exciting races set for decision this Friday night at Wentworth Park, with the first set to run at 7:12pm local time. A nice maiden series and non-graded races over the 520m and 280m headline the program, and as always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two.
Race 5: Zipping Megatron (3)
This youngster from the powerful Jason Magri kennel has one win and one second from his two race starts. He bombed the start in the Million Dollar Chase Maiden heats before rattling home for second. In the final, he used box one to perfection to run a phenomenal 29.4 seconds — some 4.5 lengths quicker than the Million Dollar Chase winner on the same night. He will have improved again for the extra run and should be at full fitness now, and if he goes anywhere near the time from last start, he'll be gapping these.

Form: 21 | Career: 2: 1-1-0 | Trainer: Jason Magri
Race 7: Bandit Bluey (5)
Bandit Bluey was last seen when knocked out of the Million Dollar Chase semi-finals, which is a massive achievement for such a young dog. The kennel has a massive wrap on her, and in her first-ever look at Wentworth Park she clocked 29.8 seconds. She usually shows good early pace, and box five here is great if you can get out and begin, so she is not horribly drawn. However, there is good pace in this strong fifth-grade field, and she will need to begin well, cross and lead to take care of business, but she is good enough to win this.

Race 6: Ritza Natalie (8)
This girl has a great record at Wentworth Park, with four wins and four placings from 10 starts. She is relatively unknown from the wide box, as the widest she has ever drawn is box six. It shouldn't be a major hurdle, though, as drawn under her is Leg Speed, who is a slow beginner and wants the rails badly, so Ritza Natalie should get the whole middle of the track to herself early. She has plenty of early speed and should lead or, at worst, be outside Nacho Queen early.
