Wentworth Park betting tips

Another wonderful Wednesday night of greyhound racing at rolls around and we have some seriously talented greyhounds doing battle tonight. There are sizzling heats of dogs-only and bitches-only fifth-grade series along with a good maiden, a staying race and a high-quality non-graded affair. There are plenty of winners to be had and we hope we can help you find a few.

BEST BET: Coin Model (Race 7)

puts the polish on this daughter of Barcia Bale and Clay Mullins' grand old brood bitch for Clay. This well-bred sister to Coco Model and half-sister to looked a little lost on her Wentworth Park debut and then improved only to be run down by the very strong and talented on her second look. Third up however and she went BOOM and destroyed a pretty decent field and ran 29.63 which was the best time of the night, if you don't mind. We know this breed can be very good and that they also have their nights off. Let's hope tonight is an on night for this Model and the she can really return us some sizeable Coin.

Danger: Zipping Abagail has done everything right since he has come from Victoria and joined Richard Muscat, returning three wins, four seconds and two thirds from her nine NSW starts — all here at headquarters. She hasn't run any sizzling times, but if she uses box one well, she can be right in it.

NEXT BEST: Black Abbott (Race 3)

We have tipped this boy to you before and he comes back into our best bets as he draws perfectly in this race. The race is devoid of any real early burn except for Tarawi Ferrari which should suit . Last week off an awkward draw against the classy Wyndra All Class he crashed to the fence and found trouble early before railing through and finishing off quite well. He has never had box one but has a career record of six starts for three wins and three thirds and owns a 29.83 personal best here which would win this race. Jodie Lord will be looking for a big night and will have him primed for his box one debut. If he can hold the fence through the first turn without having to give away too much ground early he will pick them up in the back straight and race away with the prize.

Danger: Choo Choo Train showed surprising zip early last week and got the benefit of an early check to rivals to hold the fence and race away to a tremendous win. Used box one well and now moves outside a dire railer and will need luck to cross early, but if he crosses Black Abbott, he just may make it a brace.

BEST VALUE: Zipping Alabama (Race 6)

She may just be the forgotten girl of this race. So let's not forget back in September she clocked 29.3 and 29.4 to win a heat and a semi-final of the Chase right here. While the track if often very quick for those series it is still a highly impressive effort. She had a nice break after that gruelling campaign and the Finn camp decided to try her over the middle distance which didn't seem to work out. Remember how we have told you that the good trainers often use the middle distance to try and sharpen up their quality sprinters. We are hoping that is the case for Miss Alabama as it will appear the two inside dogs may hold the majority of the money in this race and she may get out to silly odds for such a quality greyhound.
