Wentworth Park betting tips

Wentworth Park will play host to 10 quality races this Saturday night as some big names return with eyes on the later in the month. The highlights include the finals of the boys’ and girls’ heats from last week and a quality free-for-all race. The first race starts at 7:05pm local time, and as always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two.

Race 8: Ezra Man (3)

This boy’s last two runs at The Gardens were simply extraordinary, and he brought that form to town to win his heat for this final in 29.9. That was his first look at Wentworth Park and he is bound to improve from the run. His early sectional was the best of the heats, and a repeat would see him cross the two dogs drawn under him and establish a nice lead on the fence. He has only had the one miss in his seven-race career, and that was when he was poleaxed in a final in . This race is deeper, but he looks a good greyhound with a bright future.

Race 3: Mortified (4)

showed no end of early pace in her last two runs in the 1 Megastar, winning her heat and being ever so gallant in the final. She will lead this field for fun, and we all know that’s the place to be here. She is 10 from 18 on the track and two from three from this box. The vacant box under her is a massive plus. The only question, then, is whether gets the dream sit on her and runs over her late. With the fact she has a 29.3 personal best and Palawa King might find some trouble from the wider runners, Mortified looks a good thing to lead all the way.

Race 2: Tiger Jack (7)

This guy contested back-to-back staying events in Melbourne and Brisbane before a four-month layoff, and while he is contesting a sprint first-up here, he should be very competitive. We know how awkward he can be, but don’t forget he does have a very slick 29.6 personal best around here and is well drawn off the track. He is obviously heading towards bigger and better in the coming months, but this looks a good place to start.
