Promising youngster Isle Of Rose impresses again at Wentworth Park
Isle Of Rose served up a huge performance to salute for the second straight week at Wentworth Park on Saturday night.
Trained and owned by Troy MacDonald, the chaser was sent to the boxes as the +130 second race favourite in the 520m fifth grade contest at greyhound bookmakers.
At box-rise, race favourite Shanghai Suzie (+110) jumped well to hit the lead, as Isle Of Rose moved wide from the green box to challenge the leader.
Around the final bend and into the straight, Isle Of Rose kicked away, beating Blue Moves (+1000) by 4.5 lengths in 29.82.

Last time out, on October 14, she saluted by 2.25 lengths beating Rosacky Venom over the same track and trip.
Over the 520m journey at Wentworth Park, Isle Of Rose has now had two wins from three starts.
From a 2021 litter of eight by Barcia Bale out of Hello Mavis, Isle Of Rose continues to climb to the top of the most successful.
Brother Tarawi Tiger stands as the litter benchmark with nine wins and nine placings from 20 career starts, including finsihing runner-up in the 2023 Vic Peters Classic final.
Isle Of Rose debuted at Maitland on May 29, and after breaking her maiden debut, she notched up five straight wins and a runner-up finish over the 450m distance there before having her first look at Wentworth Park.
She has seven wins and one minor placing from nine starts, and her win on Saturday night pushed prizemoney to $24,400.
