The Meadows betting preview, best bets & quaddie picks | 4/6/22
RACE six on the program looks to be the race of the night at The Meadows on Saturday night with every greyhound in the field having won 10 races or more.
Every greyhound has won more than $25,000 in earnings and will race over 525m in the free for all event.
Race one of the night will kick off at 6:41pm, while the last race will take place at 10:33pm.
BEST BET: INVICTUS JAXSON (race eight)
KAYLA Cottrell trains this greyhound who has a big chance of leading this race.
The son of Aston Dee Bee x Invictus Gypsy is a strong type too and has no issues running out a strong 525m.
She won over 600m at The Meadows on April 16 after leading all of the way and she then backed up a good run at Sandown Park last week when she went down by half a length.
The only slight concern is that he has been beaten on numerous occasions by small margins so punters may have a nervous watch if they back this one.
He has been in the money 32 of 46 starts and does usually have early pace.
He is a classy individual and we are sticking with him to win.

NEXT BEST: LITTLE TIGER (race 12)
ONE for the Richmond fans perhaps in race 12 with Little Tiger going on top here after drawing the prized red box over 525m.
His run here two starts back was good when second in 30.03 and he has also run good seconds the last two times that he has raced from the red box.
He likely won’t lead but we are hoping he can position up nicely behind the leader down the back straight before being strong to the line.
The Andrea Chapple trained chaser has been in the money 32 of 51 starts so we think he is a safe each-way play here.

VALUE BET: WIPE THE TEARS (race two)
THIS Tim Britton trained chaser won’t be huge odds but we still think he may be value with a couple of other clever ones in the race.
The daughter of Fernando Bale x Tears Siam was slightly disappointing last start when fourth here but rising up to 600m will suit as she has ran out a strong 525m on numerous occasions.
She does have the ability to jump well and we expect her to settle in the top three early, with the last 50m being the crucial part of the puzzle.
Wrangler Jane and Especially Rare, who is a quick beginner, must be respected in this one.
