Wentworth Park betting tips

It's another quality Saturday night of greyhound racing at . There are 11 races set down for decision from 5:44pm onwards and some exceptional greyhounds will be going around. There is a free-for-all race that would be worthy of a Group final, as well as a great staying race. There are lots of winners to be found and hopefully we can steer you towards a couple of them.

Best Bet: One Hot Bandit (Race 6)

The 2023 Easter winner now has six wins and a third from his eight attempts at Wentworth Park. His only miss was in the Vic Peters Classic. He has never drawn box five but is two from two out of box four, while the five is a good box at Wenty for strong beginners. He is coming off wins in the heats and the final of the dogs-only series here and is still well placed in fourth/fifth-grade company. If Copious, drawn next to him, gives him room early, One Hot Bandit will show his acceleration and lead this race. If he runs anything like his 29.5 personal best, he should win.

Next Best: Zipping Strop (Race 10)

At his third career start, Zipping Strop sizzled around in 29.34 – only 0.2 seconds outside of the track record. Since that run, he has gone on to complete the hat-trick with two more impressive wins, albeit on slower tracks. He comes to town for the first time, but you can be sure he has been trialled here. While the box draw does him no favours, none of his rivals have broken 30 seconds around here and this boy has the ability to run around the 29.6 mark.

Best Value: Charlo (Race 11)

has just come back from a two-month layoff and was put over the sprints first-up before coming back to town. He can be a risky beginner and can do so much wrong in his races, yet he's still an talent. He has four wins and eight placings from his 21 starts and likes an inside draw. Bookmakers are likely to take him on due to the mistakes he can make, but if he can even show a glimpse of the form that saw him win in 29.87 here back in March, he should be the value bet of the night.
