Wentworth Park Wednesday tips & quaddie | August 23, 2023

Wentworth Park betting tips

Another amazing 10-race meeting is set for Wednesday night at , with the first race jumping at 6:35pm local time. Once again, there is something for everyone. A quality free-for-all will highlight the program, while there is also a nice staying race, a battlers race, a 280m dash for cash, and some good restricted-class races. As always, we will try to find you a winner or two.

Race 10: Okey (2)

is the class runner in the closer and the only dog rated better than a third-grader. He has been racing against the best sprinters for a while now and will really appreciate the drop in class. His win two starts back at in best-of-day time was very good, and with a vacant box outside him, he should get plenty of room to muster his exceptional pace. He has four wins and three minor placings from nine attempts at Wentworth Park, while he has two wins and two minors from four goes from the black and white box. His personal best of 15.85 is ridiculously quick, and if he can even break the 16-second mark, he will be winning this.

Race 4: Soliola To Excel (8)

This guy began well and really dominated the race last week from box one, and despite drawing the other side of the track, he may still get it all his own way early in this race. Both dogs drawn immediately inside him are moderate beginners who will be looking for the fence. If he can begin like he did last start, he will get plenty of room out in the middle of the track and will just need enough pace to cross the red and the checks. If he leads, he looks the winner.

Race 6: Glide To Excel (4)

This boy has been placed in each of his last 12 runs, including a great second to the flying sprinter over 400m. He just lacks a touch of class to be a top-line chaser, but this is only a moderate fifth-grade race. He has had 46 career starts and only won seven, but he has another 25 placings on top of that. He doesn’t have a ton of early pace, but if he gets an ounce of luck, he will be right in this. He has a personal best of 30.03 here, and if he can find that form, he can definitely win this.
