Wentworth Park Friday betting tips – December 14, 2023
Wentworth Park goes back into its traditional Friday night slot with 11 quality races to be decided. The highlight of the program will be the heats of the dogs-only and bitches-only series, along with a star-studded third-and-fourth-grade race. Here are Australian Racing Greyhound's free Wentworth Park betting tips for December 15.
Race 4: Palawa King (4)
The 2023 Bold Trease winner has five wins and nine placings from 21 tries over the 520m at Wentworth Park, while he is six from eight in the blue box. There is enough early pace in this race to clear a path for him; it will just depend on how fast they are going up front. The race maps for him to be on the fence early and last through the first turn, but if there is any trouble up front, Palawa King will be swooping over the top late and showing he is clearly the best dog in this race.

Race 11: Okey (4)
Okey has run 16 seconds or better over the Wentworth Park 280m trip 12 times. No other dog in this race has broken 16 at Wenty, and a couple haven't ever won here. He basically draws into a fourth-grade race, and the drop in class — as well as the vacant box underneath him — will aid his cause. Provided he doesn't miss the kick, Okey should be notching up win career win number 24.

Race 5: Zipping Optimise (7)
This girl is horribly drawn again out in box seven, where she has started in five of her six races to date — yet she still has a career record of three wins and a placing. Her run back on November 1 at Richmond was nothing short of sensational, and if she gets any luck from this bad draw, she will be right in this race. Here's hoping the top greyhound bookmakers give us a decent price about her.
