Good Odds Cobber continues stellar form with Bulli Gold Cup win
Good Odds Cobber delivered a dominant performance to claim victory in the Group 2 Bulli Gold Cup on Sunday, February 16, stopping the clock at a blistering 25.98.
Trained and owned by Frank Hurst and Tracey Hurst, the star greyhound showcased his class over the 472m distance and added another feature to his resume.
Jumping reasonably from box one, Good Odds Cobber had to navigate early pressure from Chief Lightning and Past The Buck before finding a clear passage.
Once he hit the front on the home turn, he powered away to secure the title, proving why he is one of the most formidable sprinters in New South Wales.
The $2.40 bookmaker favourite Good Odds Cobber crossed the line one and a quarter lengths ahead of Chief Lightning, with Unleash In Miami securing third place.
Ali Tango rounded out the top four.
The final race time of 25.98 cemented Cobber’s place among the best to have graced the Bulli circuit.
