Million Dollar Chase (MDC) regionals roll-on at Bulli & Gosford

Persuasive falls in to win the 2022 Million Dollar Chase Regional Final for in 26.09.

It was ’s turn yesterday to host their Million Dollar Chase (MDC) regional final, with a talented field of chasers assembling over the 472m distance.

After gapping his rivals in the straight it looked to be a case of times and margins; however in what appeared to be cramping by the son of in the latter stages, the fast finishing Mickey Doo reduced the winning margin to a length, with That’s My Guy a further half a length away in third position.

Persuasive still posted a slick performance of 26.09, with the first three runners qualifying for the semi-finals to be held at on 29th April 2022.

conducted two heats for their qualifier over the 515m last night, with outsider causing an upset in the first event, stopping the clock in a sizzling 29.19 from box seven.

The William Dance-trained chaser stepped cleanly and crossed Modern Talking at the first turn to score by three and three quarter lengths.

In the second heat, both and Fantastic Raven were backing-up after impressive performances on Golden Easter Egg night at Wentworth Park last Saturday finishing first and second; with Sam Sultana’s charge claiming victory in a best of the night performance of 29.14.

Commencing from box three, the daughter of Zambora Brockie and Yuko showed no signs of fatigue with an outstanding performance to salute by a length at the finish.
