Power And Glory showcases talent in New Sensation heats
In an exhilarating showcase of speed and agility, Wentworth Park witnessed some impressive performances during the heats for the Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg and the Simply Limelight New Sensation on Wednesday.
Power And Glory, trained by Ken Burnett, stole the spotlight with a run of 29.29 seconds, outshining the post-final favourite Good Odds Cobber.
It was no surprise that Power And Glory emerged victorious, given that Burnett had mentioned the greyhounds trial time of 29.40 seconds at Wentworth Park.

Good Odds Cobber, under the guidance of trainer Frank Hurst, also secured a heat win with a time of 29.34 seconds, while Barefoot Dave and Aunt Virginia claimed victories in their heats. Despite clocking the slowest time among the four heats, Aunt Virginia's win was equally remarkable.
After a bad start and trailing in last place during the first turn, this determined greyhound showcased incredible perseverance by moving up to second place on the home stretch before sprinting to victory.
