The first event saw the boat rocked early with long odds on favourite Cawbourne Hails missing the kick and allowing Daytona Norbert for Geoff Stafford to open up and in 25.67 ahead of the favourite, True Octane in third.

In a tight affair in the second Stephen Wadick’s Highland Rain broke her Maiden beating Shady Gold Lara by a neck, Sheeba Coluda coming in third.

The final event seeing the placing hoodoo on the McFarlane kennels broken when Mancunian Kool jumped beautifully to lead all the way and clock 25.34 beating Cawbourne Texas and Sweet Rayah.
