Albion Park is set to host a 12-race program on Thursday night from 6:12PM local time. The meeting is headlined by five heats of a fifth-grade series set to be run over the 520m featuring the likes of Icy Eyes, Over Thinking, and Double Up Bill.

After a plethora of brilliant feature races and stacked fields over the staying trip in recent times, Thursday's race is a fall from grace that will allow Bogie Hurricane to break through. The two-year-old has been a model of consistency over the past month, where he's contested six races, resulting in five placings. He has faced the likes of Days Of Thunder and Valpolicella in these efforts and will be well suited to the obvious drop in competition. He is drawn well out wide and will be best suited to the small field. Expect Select Moment and Hidden Agenda to cut at each other while Bogie Hurricane stalks the pair and pounces late in the piece.

There is great race shape here for Reggie Quinn to record his second win. The son of Hooked On Scotch has faced the starter on six occasions for one win and two placings. He has recently been sent around the 520m at Albion Park and has had little luck in both outings from wide boxes. He gets his chance to make amends on Thursday night and will be aided by a lower draw. Judging by how both Darryl's Keep and All That Torque drawn inside him, he should be able to beat them to the first turn and find the rails first. From there, he will prove difficult to hold out.

The second of five fifth-grade heats presents an intriguing battle at the top of betting between Super Shanks and Icy Eyes. The pair have been racing in good form; however, it's Icy Eyes that is more appealing on Thursday. The daughter of Flying Fired Up burst onto the scene recording a slick five length win in 29.87 over the course and distance. Since then, it's fair to say she hasn't quite gone to the new level; however, her last two runs have shown glimpses of improvement. She began a lot quicker two starts ago when leading all of the way to record a win in 29.99. She began well last week before being checked out of contention. She draws wide on Thursday and despite never starting from box eight she has raced well from box six and appears suited to wide draws. If she can avoid trouble on the first bend she's the one to beat.
